easyfundraising is a website and app that turns your everyday online shopping into free donations for the group. Over 8,000 retailers — including big names like Amazon, Argos, John Lewis, eBay, M&S, Sainsbury's, Boots, Currys, Uber Eats, Booking.com and the major insurance and energy comparison sites — will donate a small percentage of whatever you spend to the 144th. Insurance renewals, holidays, birthday presents, the weekly shop — it all adds up, and every penny goes straight into activities, kit and adventures for our young people.
How it works

Join easyfundraising and choose the 144th Glasgow Scout Group as your cause. It takes about two minutes.
Shop as normal
When you buy something online, start at easyfundraising (or use the Donation Reminder or the app) and click through to the retailer.
We get a donation
The retailer sends the group a free donation automatically. You pay exactly the same price you always would.

Common questions
Will it cost me anything?
No. easyfundraising is completely free to use, and your shopping costs exactly the same as it always would. The donation comes out of the retailer’s marketing budget, not your pocket.
Which retailers will donate?
Over 8,000 of them — including Amazon, eBay, Argos, John Lewis, M&S, Sainsbury’s, Boots, Currys, ASOS, Booking.com, TUI, Uber Eats, Sky, BT and the big insurance and energy comparison sites.
How much does the group actually get?
It varies by retailer, but it is typically a small percentage of what you spend. As an example, easyfundraising quote a £289.99 Argos order raising £11.60 for a cause at their new-customer rate. Individually the amounts are small; across a whole group of families they add up quickly.
Is the Donation Reminder safe?
Yes. It is an official easyfundraising browser add-on that simply alerts you when the site you are on will donate. It is safe, secure and will not slow your device down.
How does the money reach the 144th?
easyfundraising pay causes every three months, straight into the group’s bank account. If a quarter’s total is small it rolls over rather than being lost, so nothing you raise ever goes to waste.
How does easyfundraising make money?
Retailers pay easyfundraising a commission on each sale. That is completely separate from the donation you raise — it is not taken out of the group’s share.
