Beavers
Beavers is the first section of the Scouts, for young people aged 6 to 8. It's where the adventure begins — a safe, fun, friendly space to make new friends, discover new interests, and start earning badges.
What Beavers do
Each Monday evening, our Beaver colony meets for an hour of games, crafts, challenges, and themed activities. No two nights are the same — one week it might be science experiments, the next it's building, cooking, or exploring the outdoors.
Games, crafts & themed nights
Themed activity nights packed with games, arts and crafts — and no two weeks are ever the same.
Earning badges
Activity badges across sport, creativity, science and more — to collect and wear with pride.
Exploring outdoors
Getting outside, discovering nature and trying brand-new things in a safe, friendly group.
Day trips & visits
Day trips, outings and visits to other Beaver colonies and exciting new places.
Celebrations & events
Seasonal celebrations and special group events throughout the year.

When they're ready, young Beavers make their Promise: "I promise to do my best, to be kind and helpful and to love our world." It's a big moment — and one families are warmly invited to share.
Scouting is open to people of all faiths and of none. Everyone makes a version of the Promise that is meaningful to them, no matter their background or belief.
I promise to do my best, to be kind and helpful and to love our world.
I promise to do my best and to be kind and helpful and to love God.
I promise to do my best and to be kind and helpful and to love Allah.
