We've launched a brand-new home online for the 144th — section info, news, our calendar, kit lists, costs and more, all in one place. Here's a quick tour of what you'll find.
Welcome to the new 144th Glasgow Scout Group website! After months of work behind the scenes, we’ve brought everything about our group into one modern, easy-to-use place — for current families, for anyone thinking of joining, and for the volunteers who make it all happen.
Why we built it
For years our information lived across old pages, emails and scattered documents. We wanted one reliable home online where you can quickly find what you need — when your child meets, what to pack for camp, how subs work, who to talk to — without hunting for it. Just as importantly, it helps our volunteers spend less time on admin and more time delivering great Scouting.
We’re a friendly, inclusive group — we meet in a church hall, but you don’t need to be religious to join — open to everyone in Baillieston and the East End of Glasgow.

Getting involved
- Volunteer and Vacancies — the many ways to help, from a few hours to a regular role. You don’t need any experience — we’ll train you.
