Games, stories and glue-stick chaos for 4–6 year olds — help bring our brand-new Squirrel Drey to life in Baillieston.
One weekly session, term-time
We’re launching a brand-new Squirrel Drey for 4–6 year olds — it isn’t running yet — and it’ll need a friendly team to help it thrive from day one. As a Team Member you’ll be right in the thick of it: helping run activities, joining in the games, and making sure every young person has a brilliant time.
What you’d be doing
- Helping deliver the weekly Squirrel session alongside the Team Leader
- Running small-group activities, crafts and games
- Being a warm, reliable face for our youngest members and their families
Who it’s for
No experience needed — just patience, energy and a willingness to muck in. It’s a lower-commitment way to get involved than leading, and a perfect first step into volunteering with Scouts.
We meet at St Andrew’s Church hall on Bredisholm Road in Baillieston, in Glasgow’s East End. It’s a church hall, but Scouts is open to everyone — all faiths and none. We’re an inclusive group, not a religious one.
We provide all the training you need (free of charge), full support from the team, and cover your PVG/Disclosure check.
