New Monday-night schedule from August 2026
From August 2026 our Monday-night meeting times are changing so every section gets the space it needs across our two halls. Here are the new times.
From August 2026 we’re changing our Monday-night meeting times. Please take a moment to check the new time for your child’s section and update your diary.
The new times

| Scouts | 7:30–9:00pm | Old Hall |
| Explorers | 8:15–9:30pm | New Hall |
| Squirrels | 6:00–7:00pm | Old Hall (once the Drey launches) |
Why we’re changing
We’re lucky to have two halls on our site, and this new schedule makes much better use of both. By staggering start times across the New Hall and the Old Hall, we can:
- give each section the right amount of space and time, without two sections squeezing into the same room;
- run more sections on the same night while keeping group sizes right;
- create room for Squirrels to launch and for Explorers to grow into a space of their own.
It also means smoother handovers on busy Monday evenings, and a calmer start and finish for everyone.
What you need to do
- Check your section’s new time above and note it for August.
- Drop-off and pick-up should follow the new times — please be prompt at pick-up so leaders can reset the hall for the next section.
- If you’re not sure which hall to head to, our leaders will be on hand to point you in the right direction for the first few weeks.
